Learn to Play Petanque!

Petanque Clinics
Sunday, June 12 from 3-4:30 pm and Tuesday, June 14 from 1-2:30 pm
Learn the basics of the bocce-like game of petanque, the French game of throwing “boules” to end up closest to a target jack.  It’s easy to learn the fundamentals, and it never becomes boring as you continue to master techniques and tactics.  It’s fun at any skill level and appropriate for all ages.  If you have the stamina to play horseshoes, you can play petanque–but it involves a lot more strategy since the thrown boules and target jack can be moved.  Petanque provides a life-long opportunity to develop and hone throwing skills, strategize with teammates on tactics, and have fun outdoors.  Equipment will be provided.  No partner is necessary.  Free.
Instructors:  Kendall Klemm, Paul Sexton and Alfonso Oglesby

Petanque Play Sessions
Tuesdays at 1pm and Thursdays at 6pm, June 16-30
Join folks to play petanque.  Drop by to learn and play even if you haven’t taken a clinic.  We’ll have boules you can use.
